Booking terms
Who you book with, what applies and how to get help.

Translation for information. The Swedish version applies
Tripnorm is a decision-support service for choosing hotels. The service receives a trip description, compares alternatives and shows three reasoned choices. The booking is completed through the booking or payment path shown in the confirmation.
The parties to the contract depend on the booking path. The confirmation and terms shown before you continue identify who receives the payment and which rules apply. Always read the information for the specific booking you are making.
Prices and contracts
Live prices are obtained from the booking partner for the dates and number of guests you specify. The price is checked again in the booking step. If the hotel’s price or availability has changed, the booking stops before you confirm. A reference price is a snapshot and is not a binding quotation. When a price, fee or cancellation rule is unknown, it is shown as unknown.
Withdrawal right for accommodation
The withdrawal right under the Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts Act does not apply when the service concerns accommodation on a specified day or during a specified period. The hotel’s cancellation deadline and the other terms in the confirmation apply instead. Check them before confirming a booking.
Price watching
Price watching is available when Tripnorm has a live price. If you provide your email address, the price is watched for the hotel and period for which you prepared a booking. You can end the watch at any time through the link in the email or by contacting us. The watch is assistance on a best-effort basis and does not guarantee that every price movement will be detected.
VAT, receipt and invoice
Tripnorm does not receive payment on the partner path and does not issue a receipt or VAT invoice for that booking. VAT, any taxes and fees are included or specified in the hotel’s or booking partner’s confirmation and invoice. If you need accounting records, obtain them from the issuing party.
On a direct-booking path, Tripnorm shows an overview of the amount covered by the booking, but the overview is not a VAT invoice. The correct invoice issuer and receipt are provided by the payment recipient.
Disputes and complaints
Start by contacting the hotel or booking partner identified in the confirmation. If a dispute cannot be resolved there, you can contact the Swedish National Consumer Disputes Board. Tripnorm’s role and responsibility depend on the booking path used.
Limitation of liability
Tripnorm is responsible for the decision-support material reflecting the information available to the service at the time of search and for showing known uncertainties. Tripnorm is not responsible for the partner’s or hotel’s pricing, availability, cancellation handling or other terms after the information has been passed to them.
Applicable law
Swedish law applies insofar as mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence do not provide otherwise.
