Independence declaration
You should know who pays and whether that affects your selection.
Version 2.1, 7 september 2026. This is not a slogan but a list of claims that can be checked against the code that runs, with a history of every change.
1. No compensation affects the ranking
The scoring engine (src/lib/decision/score.ts) accepts no partner, commission or payment signal. The functions assigning roles have no such parameters to influence. The six weights are public, the page imports exactly the same constants the engine runs and a regression test fails the build if the page and engine drift apart.
2. The same question gives the same answer
The engine is deterministic. Version 2026.09.13 is shown with every result, and an automated test runs an identical question twice and requires a bit-identical answer. Anything that could affect the result bumps the version and is described in the changelog.
3. The watches are channel-neutral
The cancellation deadline counts down to free cancellation regardless of where a booking was made, and Flight Watch’s free route provides the full compensation claim without Tripnorm receiving any compensation. No part of the watches determines where you rebook or book. We earn nothing from the channel you choose.
4. The future clause: what we promise before revenue
Tripnorm now facilitates the booking in the hotel’s name and may receive commission. Ranking and its logging happen before the booking step, so compensation can never affect a selection. Tripnorm receives the same compensation regardless of which of the three choices you book.

Vi väljer bland alla hotell partnern har i staden, inte bland ett handplockat urval. Men motorn, de publika vikterna och vår ersättning är desamma oavsett vilket av de tre valen du bokar. Vet vi avståndet till centrum räknas det nu in i poängen för läget. Det är en uppgift om hotellet, inte något någon har betalat för.

- Tripnorm förmedlar nu bokningen i hotellets namn och kan få provision. Löftena gäller lika fullt: vi rangordnar hotellen innan du kommer till bokningen, motorn vet inget om provisionen, och vår ersättning är densamma oavsett vilket av de tre valen du bokar. Du betalar direkt till hotellet – Tripnorm tar aldrig emot betalningen.
